Livecom helped the Great Wall platform shine in IBC.
From September 9 to 13, Amsterdam, the Netherlands ushered in the 2016 IBC (International Broadcasting Convention). Founded in 1967, IBC attracts 1600 + exhibitors and 55000 + visitors from more than 170 countries every year. It is the largest and most influential industry event in Europe.
In this IBC exhibition, Livecom, together with CCTV international and ZTE, jointly demonstrated the business of Great Wall platform OTT, ASTV Africa DTH, media distribution platform and other related companies. During the whole exhibition, many customers visited, and customers from Russia's cable operators, UK's content distributors, the Middle East's OTT operators and other countries expressed strong interest and willingness to cooperate with Chinese TV content. IBC's exhibitors mainly display media equipment and technical services, and the Great Wall platform represented by Livecom is one of the few content providers, so it has become a hot spot and received widespread attention.
At 3:00 p.m. on September 11, Livecom assisted CCTV international and ZTE in holding a joint conference in the conference room of IBC exhibition hall. The 120 square meter conference room was full of seats, and Tang Shiding, vice president of China International Television Corporation, received a lot of applause for his speech. At the signing ceremony later, Tang Shiding and Michel Azibert, vice president and chief commercial officer of Eutelsat, a European satellite company, signed a memorandum of cooperation on satellite landing in the Middle East of CCTV international channel. Li Lu, assistant general manager of CCTV international media, signed a memorandum of cooperation on the new media platform of the Great Wall platform with ZTE, Greek radio and television FORTHNET and Dutch Divitel. After the meeting, livecom organized a group photo and cocktail party of Great Wall platform and major customers.
