GREAT-WALL OTT released in Spain
June 23 and 24, 2015. Two overseas OTT businesses of CCTV international Great Wall platform were held in the VIP Hall of Bernabeu stadium, Real Madrid, Spain, and the seaside city of Barcelona, hosted by CCTV international and participated by Livecom, a Spanish local company Friendship Communication, system provider ZTE communication and network and operation and maintenance service provider Opening and release ceremony.
Qu Shengwu, counsellor Zhu Jian, ambassador of Chinese Embassy in Spain, President of CCTV International Television Corporation, Xue Jijun, general manager LV Chunguang, head of CCTV Europe news station, Shen Jianing, general manager Jia Yunpeng, general manager of ZTE in Spain, etc. The total number of local overseas Chinese, representatives of Chinese funded institutions, etc. attending the conference reached more than 300, which is unprecedented. Weng Zhenming, President of Friendship Communication, introduced the opening of OTT business. Mr. Chen Jiang, general manager of Livecom, attended the conference and delivered a speech on behalf of Livecom.
The successful holding of the conference indicates that the Internet TV business led by CCTV international and long-awaited by overseas Chinese has officially opened in Spain.
